Lata Sojka – Managing Director

Lata oversees every aspect of the business, from the staff and contractors to production and workflow, accounts and business systems.  She applies her insights and enthusiasm to every project we are involved in and motivates everyone to be and do their best.  If Cyrius was a spaceship, Lata would be the booster rockets.

Cyrius is very grateful to have Lata on our team and so are our clients.  With everything she does, she embodies the old proverb “if it's worth doing, it's worth doing well”, though she would replace ‘well’ with ‘perfectly’.

Lata is known for her friendly manner, caring approach and professional outlook.  She is always learning and looking for ways to improve not just herself, but everyone and everything around her.  She is looking forward to getting to know you and your project and would love to be a part of your success.

Shawn Drew – Programmer, Lead Developer

We can always rely on Shawn, our Sydney Web Developer. He is forever checking out the latest trends, finding new tools and working out new ways to get things done and improve them. Being with Cyrius for over five years, Shawn has encountered everything that computers, the Internet, our clients and we can throw at him and he has always found a solution.

Dependable, personable, very fast and efficient, Shawn is an essential member of our team and adds immeasurable value to every project.

Marcin Piekarski – Graphic Designer, Web Developer

Marcin brings his experience of two years working for one of Australia’s largest online retailers.  Cyrius is fortunate to have him help us out on many projects as a professional freelancer, applying his talents and knowledge to each new project we send his way.

Marcin, Sydney Web developer, never stands still; he is always discovering the latest Internet trends and technologies, ideas and insights to improve his skill-set and deliver first-class results.  He is a perfectionist and is often seen zooming his designs in to maximum, to tweak and adjust the individual pixels.

Stephanie Graham – Graphic Designer

Well – what can we say about Stephanie?  Just look at our Website and judge for yourself.  Thank you Stephanie, for translating all the ideas for our Website into reality.

Stephanie is a freelance graphic artist, Sydney Web designer and Web developer and has been part of the Cyrius team for many years.  She has a wealth of experience in both print and new media design, having done her design apprenticeship at a printing firm before crossing over to the Web.

Stephanie has an excellent natural eye for colour and beautiful design as well as a professional attitude when it comes to solving design problems for our clients.

Shirley Beaver – Editor / Proofreader

In these days of SMS, where evry1 is ROFLing and gttngbck 2 u shrtly, it is so refreshing to have on board someone schooled in the Queen’s English.  Shirley has studied Comparative Philology, French and Old English at University level (so she even knows why words are spelled the way they are, not just how to spell them!)  She has even compiled her own Old English dictionary.

Shirley has won many short story competitions for her creative writing and has edited documents as diverse as tertiary theses, concert programs, technical manuals, Websites, books of poetry and collections of short stories.

Cyrius feels very privileged to have Shirley on board.  A better proofreader we could not find – though she does let the occasional trendy new idiom through. LOL!

Marek Sojka – Accounts / Office Administration

For every job at Cyrius that nobody has time to do, can’t do or doesn’t want to do, Marek is there.  From bookkeeping and accounts to filing, banking, shopping, running errands and deliveries, cleaning, making coffee, maintaining Websites, proofreading, handiwork, installing ducted air-conditioning systems, gardening, plumbing, motor vehicle maintenance and carpentry, Cyrius keeps Marek busy.

A self-confessed perfectionist, Marek’s attention to detail ensures everything he does passes the highest level of scrutiny.  Every office needs a Marek.
